About Us
D&L Adult Care Home is a privately owned residential assisted living facility. We are licensed by the State of Arizona to provide direct care (which includes both supervisory and personal care) for up to 10 residents. Our license number is ALH-2099.
D&L was opened in 1997 by Dorel and Lucy Muresan, the owners and managers. Lucy Muresan started her professional career in senior care and management in 1992 in Chicago, Illinois where she worked as a CNA for Alshore Nursing Home. In 1997, she moved with her husband and family to Arizona and started D&L Adult Care Home. After the success of D&L they decided to open West Wing Adult Care Home in 2006. They continue to manage both homes.
Our Home
D&L was custom-made with the foresight of accommodating and anticipating our residents’ needs and privacy. We have private and semi-private suites with private bathrooms for individuals or couples as well as private and semi-private bedrooms with semi-private bathrooms. The floor plan of D&L discreetly separates the bedrooms and bathrooms in 3 sections of our home. Our entry, kitchen, dining, and family rooms are open, airy, and spacious so as to encourage and engage our residents socially.
Our backyard has a little for everyone. From the expansive covered and uncovered patio with the sitting area, to the wide grassy lawn, everyone is sure to step outside and enjoy the warm Arizona weather again and again. Not to mention the visual appeal our plentiful vegetable and flower gardens provide and the cool shade our generous fruit trees offer.
